During the year 2013, State Vigilance initiated 374 enquiries against 42 Class -I officers, 56 Class -II officers, 295 Class -III employees,7 Class -IV employees, 44 other public servants and 36 Private persons on their alleged involvement in various acts of corruption/malpractice. During the period, 366 enquiries have been disposed of out of which 157 enquiries were referred to respective departments for departmental action, 153 enquiries converted to criminal cases and 56 enquiries closed, as not substantiated.
During the year 2014, State Vigilance has initiated 488 enquiries against 62 Class-I officers, 71 Class-II officers, 302 Class-III employees, 9 Class-IV employees, 41 Other Public Servants and 107 Private persons on their alleged involvement in various acts of corruption/malpractice. During the period, 425 enquiries have been disposed of, out of which 143 enquiries were referred to respective departments for departmental action, 184 enquiries converted to criminal cases and 98 enquiries closed, due to inadequate substantiation.
