Registration of Criminal cases

During the period, 285 criminal cases were registered against 48 Class-I officers, 36 Class-II officers, 251 Class-III employees, 8 Class-IV employees, 38 other public servants and 146 private persons. Of these cases, 61 were instituted for acquisition of disproportionate assets against 68 public servants and 27 private persons. 112 traps were executed during the year against 115 public servants while accepting bribe from the complainants.

During the year 2014, 404 criminal cases were registered against 74 Class-I officers, 46 Class-II officers, 366 Class-III employees, 4 Class-IV employees, 47 Other Public Servants & 239 private persons. Of these cases, 53 were instituted for acquisition of disproportionate assets against 53 public servants & 18 private persons. 174 Traps were executed during the period against 181 public servants & 8 private persons while accepting bribe from the complainants.
