MGNREGS cases
During the year so far altogether 10 cases have been registered by the Odisha State Vigilance for irregularities in implementation of MNREG Scheme. Charge sheets have been placed in 2 cases and investigation is in progress in rest 8 cases.
Similarly, 14 enquiries were taken up in connection with irregularities in implementation of the Scheme. Out of these, 2 enquiries converted to criminal case and 10 enquiries are in progress.
During the year 2014, 7 cases have been registered for irregularities in implementation of MNREG Scheme against 10 officers and 3 employees. Charge sheet have been placed in 1 case against 2 officers. Investigation in 6 cases are in progress.
During the year 2014, 11 file enquiries have been registered for irregularities in implementation of MNREG Scheme. Enquiry in 7 files are in progress, 3 files have been converted to criminal case, while in one, file enquiry departmental proceeding has been recommended.
